How it works
A gelatin-starch bioplastic, not a petrochemical one
Gelatin has been GRAS-certified and used in pharmaceutical capsules since the 19th century. We turn it into a thermoplastic your body already knows how to digest.
Step 1
Blend the bioplastic
Gelatin, starch and glycerin are melted into a thermoplastic gel — a food-grade polymer, not a petrochemical one.
Step 2
Mould & set
The gel is cast into spoon moulds, cross-linked with citric acid, then cured to a firm, snap-resistant bite.
Step 3
Season & seal
Vegetable oil and salt lock out moisture; natural flavour is folded in before a compostable paper wrap.
Step 4
Eat it — or let it go
Eat the spoon after your meal, or drop it. In ambient conditions it fully biodegrades in under 24 hours.
